Castle Hill Corker

Race Information

UPDATE - Sat 22nd Feb 2025 - RACE POSTPONED

Unfortunately the Corker team have made the decision to POSTPONE the Castle Hill Corker for tomorrow.

The weather is beautiful today, but unfortunately the Yellow weather warning is still in place for most of the country from 06:00 tomorrow.  Although we all know this may come to nothing, our hands are tied by the Castle Hill estate and policies regarding events.  Our concern is with the safety of the participant, marshals and the rest of the team.  Not only during the event, but also getting to and from. We are not able to make a decision later than this, simply because of the amount of work to setup the course this afternoon.

We will look at dates in the near future as we would not like to postpone until next year.  Options and details regarding refunds will follow in the coming days once the team have had chance to review the options

Kind Regards,

Castle Hill Corker race team

Following kind permission from Lady Arran of Castle Hill the South Molton Strugglers are pleased to hold the Castle Hill Corker.

Approximately six miles of multi terrain running around the Castle Hill Estate.  Highlights will include running through the Tunnel of Doom, the Troll Bridge and Creepy Cliff and nearly 1000ft of climbing!

This is a not to be missed opportunity to run in the stunning natural landscape around the great house.

As race organisers we're aware that races have traditionally not been good when it comes to plastic waste.  This year we're going to do our best to cut out single use plastics.
